Let the games begin

The Olympic games were originally played by the Olympic gods on Mount Olympus
They were played in honor of Zeus who was the torch bearer
Which was the sacred fire of Prometheus

The sacred fire was kept burning in temples of Zeus and Hera
Who were Mars and Venus

When they moved in close approximation in front of Saturn the sun god of the previous age
The torch was lit
Today the torch is lit by a parabolic mirror placed in front of the sun
At the Sanctuary of Hestia in Olympia in Greece

The torch is also the crown of Apollo
It was the radiant outflow of the star goddess

It changed forms and became the 7 headed serpent
Or the plant of life
Which metamorphosized into the hand of God

Venus was the eye goddess or Eye of Saturn
And the eye is frequently pictured on the hand

Venus was the star above the crescent
Thought to be the moon but is actually Saturn

In her terrible aspect she became the Medusa

In the Aztec Codex
Venus is recorded to have smoke emanating from it

She is said to have been in combat with a comet
Who kept a distance from her

Or Venus battled a sun that became the moon
And she assaulted the moon because it came too close

Originally there were 2 suns
One was hit by an arrow and a great rumbling occurred
Turning it a deathly pale color

The moon beat the former sun with a lighted fire stick
And the former sun responded with a flaming broom
Which is reminiscent of the flaming Olympic torch

In a Chinese creation myth
A big hole opened up in the sky and 2 suns appeared

They warred like 2 fireballs and threw off showers of sparks
And made the heavens shine red

The light of one sun dimmed and it became the moon
And ruled over the night

The agenda for the conflict was to prevent Venus from shining her life giving rays
It was to keep humans in the dark
So that they could be ruled over!
