Hurricane Helene made landfall at Perry Florida
Which is 485 miles from Ashville North Carolina

As it went over land it gained strength when it should have weakened
And wreaked havoc like no storm before

After about 600 miles it coincidentally stalled and circled back
Over the small picturesque towns in the vicinity
Where there is a large swath of lithium

One lithium deposit goes for 25 miles and is called the Spodumene Belt
And goes under Kings Mountain where the locals have prohibited mining

Lithium is a critical component of batteries that store energy and power electronics
Lithium is also essential for artificial intelligence and advanced computing

The area is also the location of high purity quartz
And was especially prevalent at the now devastated town of Spruce Pine
This type of quartz is needed for the production of semiconductors and LED lights

The surviving residents of Chimney Peak were told they have to leave
Whether their house is remaining or not

They have been told that the town will be bulldozed
And that all private property will be seized

In Chandler the survivors are stuck and there is no way in or out
Relief supplies were confiscated

The town of Erwin Tennessee has disappeared
And other small towns and communities are no longer there

Bodies were left in the mudslides and debris along the river banks
And the death count is actually in the thousands!
