Mars and Venus
Were at close quarters
Above our flat plane
Appearing lofty in the sky
When the advent of Mars
Was especially close to Venus
Venus would discharge electrically
And send out streamers
Causing Mars to drift
From the North Axial Pole
This was Perseus
Holding up the head of the Medusa
It was the displaced Mars
And highly charged Venus
